The Department of Dentistry in Maharishi Markandeshwar Medical College & Hospital is committed to imparting quality dental treatment, which includes, preventive, surgical, restorative, pediatric & orthodontic services, along with routine dental care. The department also caters to the needs of patients admitted in ICU (Intensive Care Unit), IPD (Indoor patient department), emergency, who require special personalized care.
The Department of Dentistry offers general and multi-specialty practices, bringing a full spectrum of dental services and treatments under one roof.
The Department has a state of art Gnatus dental chairs (2) with all the attachments, like high vacuum motorized suctions, light cure units, X- ray unit for clinical correlations & better diagnosis, and different sterilization units (Autoclave, Boiler, UV chamber, Glass bead sterilizer) for infection control. There is a patient’s counseling room for imparting knowledge about preventive dentistry and oral hygiene instructions, and also a demonstration room for under-graduate (MBBS) students for lectures/discussions/case presentations with audio/visual aids.
